VC Australia: OFLC rates Cho Aniki, Digital Champ Battle Boxing, Star Parodier, and Gradius 2
Australia‘s OFLC has recently updated with four more possible titles heading for the region’s Virtual Console service for the Wii. Among other games, one that grabbed our attention is the presence of Japan‘s famous Cho Aniki shooter. Details on this matter are available in the full article.
We’re letting the gamers in Australia know that the Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) has rated four more games for the region’s Virtual Console service.
This particular lineup will be introducing a good dose of TurboGrafx-16-loving with the likes Cho Aniki, Digital Champ Battle Boxing, Star Parodier, and Gradius 2.
Gradius 2 and Digital Battle Boxing should be easy enough to figure out, so we’ll be focusing out attention on Cho Aniki and Star Parodier. Cho Aniki should be perfect for the guys who like their their shoot-em-ups served up with a large helping of wacky humor – and Speedo-clad musclemen – on the side.
Also not to be missed is Hudson’s Star Parodier title, a spoof of the company’s Star Soldier series of vertical shooters. Aside from the game’s cartoony humor, one other Easter Egg that’s not to be missed is Bomberman, who makes it in as a playable character. That said, OFLC’s listing of these four titles indicates that it’s now just a matter of time before they’re available for download. Drop by again in case we receive more updates regarding these games.
