VC Japan: Spelunker, Otogirisou, ESWAT, and Drop Off available on August 28

The lineup of Virtual Console titles to be released on August 28 in Japan has been revealed. And as projected at the end of last month, the last few titles left in the original lineup are rolling out.

Here are the four titles available this coming week in Japan:

• Drop Rock Hora Hora (PC-Engine) – 600 Wii Points
• ESWAT: City Under Siege (Mega Drive) – 600 Wii Points
• Otogirisou (Super Famicom) – 800 Wii Points
• Spelunker (NES) – 500 Wii Points

Now, just to be clear on this, Drop Rock Hora Hora has actually already been released in North America’s Virtual Console, but in the form of Drop Off. It’s a game ported from the PC, and plays much like Breakout. Japan’s lucky though for getting Spelunker (which is much like the classic Pitfall) and ESWAT (think Robocop), and only time will tell if they will also be released in US or Europe.
