VC update: Super C rated by ESRB

The ESRB site has updated with another rated Wii Virtual Console release for the near future. As seen from the screenshot above, this latest title appears to be Konami‘s Super C title – more commonly known as Super Contra – for the NES. Or, if you happen to live in Europe, Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces.

For the guys who’ve never heard of the game, Super Contra is the sequel to the Contra arcade game of 1987. Players take control of either Bill Rizer or Lance Bean – two shooters that must face off against waves of alien soldiers. Expect plenty of weapons to help you along on your way.

Now that the game’s been rated, it’s probably just a matter of time before we’ll be seeing this available for purchase on the Wii Shop Channel. Keep those Wii Points handy.
