2K Games is not about to be left out in the fun at the VGA 2009, bringing along with them their own little “surprise package” in the form of a new game announcement. It’s Spec Ops: The Line, and it looks like it’s taken a page or two off the Gears of War book.

Set in Dubai, Spec Ops is a third-person shooter, which shows the modern city-state of the Middle East devastated by a massive sandstorm. On top of all that natural catastrophe, hostile personalities also abound the city, and this is what your character has to contend with as well.
