Video: 2007 Square Enix Party and Final Fantasy XIII trailer impressions
It’s time to live vicariously through the blessed few who got to experience this year’s Square Enix party in Japan. Watch and be amazed at the colorful cosplayers, the exhibits and displays just oozing with Squeenix goodness, and the fact that the best part of the actual party – the exclusive trailers of Square Enix’s latest games – is being played in a location that prohibits video-recording equipment.
One trailer, in particular, (and the game we’ve all been waiting on news for) is Final Fantasy XIII‘s trailer. Gamespot’s impressions on it read nothing short of spectacular, with sweet CGI and in-game action involving Lightning, a musclebound comrade and a new Shiva summon.
Unfortunately, none of that Final Fantasy XIII-flavored joy was caught on camera, so you’ll just have to make do with the rest of the events shown in the videos below. Enjoy!
