Video: AcidMods’ Internal Bluetooth Mod for the PSP

If you’re not satisfied with the wireless capabilities of your PSP, then you might be interested to know that some of the developers from AcidMods are working on a project called the Internal Bluetooth Mod for Sony‘s PSP handheld.

In a video uploaded by the developers, they take viewers through a quick presentation of the Bluetooth capable PSP in action. Using a pair of modified headphones and a special Bluetooth transmitter attached to the PSP, the AcidMods team was able to feature the streaming capabilities of their little project.

So far they’ve only been able to stream music using their customized Bluetooth transmitter. Who knows? Maybe someday they may be able to stream other media like videos or even other homebrew apps through this project.

For those of you who are interested at taking a look at the technical details of how they were able to piece together this particular set up, the team from the AcidMods forums have posted a step-by-step tutorial on how they were able to do it. You can check it out through the read link below.
