Video Games Live Coming To London

VGL

The concert solely dedicated for video games is coming to London on November 25. For those who don’t know, Video Games Live or VGL is a tribute concert tour featuring music inspired from a variety of video games. Debuting last year, it was created by video game music composers Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall in association with Clear Channel Communications. This event showcases musical sequences, with video screens showing clips from different game  titles accompanied by a spectacular display of light shows, lasers, and/or special effects, such as smoke, or live action. The live action includes professional actors acting out certain characters from games such as Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid.

VGL is not only a video games event but can also be a family affair as the concept of the concert is to bring families to marvel at the advancement of not only video game music, but the video game industry as a whole. Now, VGL is set to conquer Europe with its celebration of game music, organized by AEG Live. IT will feature a live orchestra and choir recreating a huge range of game music –  from Mario, Legend of Zelda, Halo, Warcraft, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, to name a few. The event will take place at Hammersmith Apollo for a ticket price of GBP 25 plus booking fee. Playable games, exciting prizes and the chance to meet some of the designers and composers awaits you in VGL: Live in London.
