Video: Halo 3 beta user discovers VIP mode, pistol
Halo 3 beta user Chaosdude78 uploaded his video on YouTube recently and it shows him and a group of friends discovering that if you try long enough, you can actually get into a custom game sans any form of modding. What you get is a team game called VIP mode and it’s pretty similar to the VIP custom game in other FPS games we’ve seen before.
In this game, the defensive team will have one of its members assigned as the VIP. The VIP gets points by staying alive and reaching certain areas in the map. Chaosdude78 and his friends managed to find a pistol, which was usable and wasn’t fake, as proven when ownership was transferred along with VIP status when the original VIP died.
It’s a pretty interesting discovery to say the least. We’re not sure if the pistol and the VIP mode will make it to the final cut but we certainly hope so. They seem to bring a lot of fun to the game.
