Video: Mass Effect and galactic genocide from an ancient mechanical race
Brian Crecente of Kotaku got a little black box from the folks at BioWare, and in it was an “unsigned letter.” and a thumbdrive. The video in said thumbdrive serves as a preview for BioWare’s upcoming Mass Effect and is embedded below, for your enjoyment.
The letter itself hints at the game’s storyline noting that every 50,000 years an ancient machine race attempts to purge the galaxy of advanced organic life, leaving only the scattered remains of the preview civilization.
Well, now that you’ve seen the video, did it you interested in the game? Well? Glen D seems to have his objections, and who wouldn’t? The released screens were just too er, “bright.”
