Dark Sector (Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3) by Digital Extremes has been quiet for a few months now, but today we’ve got an awesome new trailer for the action-packed prospect. It’s been some time since we last saw any news or videos of Digital Extremes‘ Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 project Dark Sector. Thankfully, the developers have released this new trailer, and it looks pretty hot. Have a peek:

Let’s face it: The moment we heard someone talking with a Russian accent in the intro, we knew that mayhem would follow immediately. That sort of thing seems to happen quite often in video games these days. This blogger wonders why.

In any case, Dark Sector is getting set for an early 2008 launch on the two next-generation consoles. We hope the actual game turns out to be as good as these trailers suggest. We’ll fill you in for more.
