For those of you who are wondering what this next-gen ghost busting action game will be like, read on and watch out for any stray slime.

From the looks of the video, the game is pretty much an action game which takes a lot of its elements from the original film. It features the opening stage where they capture their first ghost, a scene taken directly from the movie.

Speaking of which, it was rather amusing seeing how the preview was interlaced with scenes from the 1984 movie, complete with the original actors as well as some legendary ectoplasmic icons that we’ve come to recognize and love (Stay Puft Marshmallow Man for the win!).

While the commentaries are in Deutsche, you can still enjoy the ghost busting gameplay in the video below. Ghostbusters the Video Game is slated for a release late next year and will be published by Sierra Entertainment.
