Video: Project Gotham Racing 4 ‘Rain’ HD
Rain never looked so good with the latest sneak peek of Bizarre Creations‘ Project Gotham Racing 4 for the Xbox 360, aptly titled “The rain in…St. Petersburg.” We’re not completely sure why the rather breathless-sounding title, but after seeing the video in full, we’re pretty much in the same state. Sure, the cars are still their gorgeous, photo-realistic selves, but the real star of the brief clip is the rain itself.
Watch as the the drops of rain actually accumulate on your car’s slick and shiny surface. Marvel at how, while going at high speeds, you’re actually creating a slipstream of water that splashes any unfortunate spectator leaning too close to the barricades (and they react accordingly)! And of course, just to get you back into racing form despite the weather, switch on your windshield wipers – which could mean that rain may actually affect gameplay more than just your traction.
