Bruce Oberg, Sucker Punch co-founder and one of the lead programmers on inFamous, recently answered a few fan questions about the upcoming sandbox-style PS3 exclusive. One of the topics Oberg discussed was the effects of the Karma system.

According to him, inFamous‘ Karma system doesn’t really push gamers into staying on one particular side of the moral line. Players are free to go back and forth. The Karma system also affects the story’s progression. There are apparently a lot of parts in the game where the story that unfolds is dependent on whether or not you’re good or evil.

You can learn more about inFamous in the vid below. There’s also a second part that’s supposed to be up tomorrow, so stay tuned for that too. The game is currently slated for release on May 26.
