Video: Tabula Rasa Compound Infiltration Gameplay

Here’s another video of NCsoft‘s Tabula Rasa in action and so far it’s the sweetest bit of gameplay we’ve ever seen for the highly anticipated MMO. This time, we see some fast and furious close-quarters combat inside an enemy compound, as well as one of the scripted events that’s bound to blow anyone off their rockers.

The first thing you’ll notice in this video is the awesome inner architecture of the compound – rather than angular, boring hallways and corridors, you’re given a snaking route that you pretty much have to follow despite the fact that it gives you a horrible vantage point with your rifle and could leave you open for an ambush. The textures are detailed to the hilt, and the action’s as smooth as silk, even when there’s a lot of action going onscreen. And watch out for the explosion near the end, it rather reminds us of a certain Resonance Cascade incident.
