Videos: Game Head features first look at latest Marvel Fighting Game
While our favorite Marvel superheroes have made their appearances in fighting games of both past and present, some of those same titles haven’t quite given us the experience of actually being superhuman. Fortunately for us, EA Chicago has caught on – and has been busy developing a fighting game that would hopefully do our Marvel superheroes justice. Game Head gives us a first look at that same game, in this three-part video update of the yet-to-be-named title for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
So what does the game look like? Phenomenal. It’s not your typical fighting game at all, where your characters are confined to a single plane, with emphasis on combos and super moves – on the contrary, you’re given complete freedom of movement, with a massive stage that features not only destructible environments but also panicking citizens.
You have to watch this one, it’s that good – seeing Dr. Doom and Spider-Man fight it out on a hapless city block certainly got us. Enjoy the videos!
