Vigilante 8 coming to XBLA?
Activision‘s Vigilante 8 seems to be on its way to Xbox gamers through the Xbox Live Arcade, after a speculation by Angry Gamer pointed out that Dan Savage, a computer graphics artist, claimed to be at work on an Xbox Live game to be coming in summer of 2007. After getting ourselves hypnotized by the lights and music from Boom Boom Rocket, we think this should be an arcade breather for many.
Presently, the site doesn’t give away more details than it used to, as the pictures above (before) and the one below (after) shows that Savage might have given away more clues than he should have. Either that, or the game that’s based on wanton road destruction, as it stands, now has been ground to a halt in development.
But since the words “will become available this Summer” is strongly suggestive, we’ll say the game is still under development. What “the game” is, however, has become unclear. Still, with a development team with a non-existent online portal to verify, we’re not even sure if “the game” would actually make it by 2007.
