Thieves accused stealing $50,000 of iPhones are tracked across states. A pair of thieves was arrested in Connecticut after troopers tracked their movements. They had stolen $50,000 of iPhones worth from a New Hampshire store. According to WFSB citing state police, “based on real-time updates of physical location and travel speed, troopers found the suspect vehicle and initiated traffic stop near I-84 westbound, exit 58, in East Hartford.” The two suspects arrested. According to KSL the man stole items and items from multiple houses. When one victim decided to track her stolen iPad, she found the alleged burglar standing next to a vehicle with many of the items stolen. He was charged with third-degree burglary and theft, as well as second-degree burglary. A Connecticut man was convicted of stealing an automobile from Rhode Island. The evidence against him included an iPhone that belonged to the owner and was left in the vehicle.
