Virtua Tennis: World Tour coming to the PSP
Now available on the PSP, this game allows you to generate your own character which you’ll have to train through the different training activities so that he will be able to compete with professionals.
There are several modes in the game: the Quick Match throws you in a game with random players; the Exhibition where the player of your choice can be used; the Tournament mode where there are five-round singles mode or a three-round doubles tournament; and, the World Tour where your personally-generated player will have to battle it out with professional players to be the top-ranking player.
When the character’s skills are enough to qualify him to enter tournaments, he’ll be able to win some money to buy clothes and equipments he’ll need. The graphics and the sound of the game are as real as a sim game can get. It’s also quite easy to use the controls for your shots, but there is still one thing that gamers might not like about Virtua Tennis: World Tour: there is no medium difficulty. You’ll win easily with the easy games but will get your ass kicked in games with professionals.
All in all though, this game is entertaining.
