Virtual Console Europe releases: Ninja Spirit and NES Open Tournament Golf
Retro gamers, listen up, Ninja Spirit and NES Open Tournament Golf are already available on the Wii via the Virtual Console. Both games are classics in their own right and make good additions to the 85 titles currently available to Europe-based gamers.
NEC‘s Ninja Spirit is a classic tale of a lone ninja warrior named Moonlight seeking revenge for his father’s death. The game spans seven stages where Moonlight must master his shinobi skills or perish before his mission is completed.
If you feel the game is exactly identical to the Turbografx-16 edition, worry not for you have access to two modes of gameplay: Arcade and PC engine mode. This game is currently available for 600 Wii points.
Then we have the NES Open Tournament Golf by Nintendo which is a classic golf game released back in 1992. The game has Mario and Luigi, three courses, and three different game modes, what more could you ask for in a golf game? There are three playable courses: US, Japan, and the UK course with each one offering a different challenge for the players.
The three game modes are Stroke Play, Match Play or Tournament modes and each is capable of eating up a large chunk of your free time if given the chance. The game is already available for 500 Wii points.
All in all, these aren’t bad offerings for Retro gamers everywhere. Be sure to check the games out to see if they tickle your fancy, we know they caught our attention.
