The Wii Virtual Console service for Europe and Australia has officially been running for one year. To celebrate this, Nintendo is offering three new games for download: Rolling Thunder 2 (Sega Genesis), Light Crusader (Sega Genesis), and Cybernator (SNES).
If you’re a fan of platformers and spy movies, you might want to consider picking up Rolling Thunder 2. Players in this game are charged with guiding one of the members of the Rolling Thunder task force in an effort to defeat the evil Neo-Geldra and their leader Gimdo. If you want to pick this game up, it’s going for 800 Wii Points.
If you’re a fan of old school Action-RPGs, then turn your attention to Light Crusader. It doesn’t get much more traditional than this game with its isometric third part view point. Players can expect a solid mix of action, puzzle solving, and platforming in the game. This game is also going for 800 Wii points.
Last but not the least on the list of games released is Cybernator. This is one platformer that blew the mind of this blogger when he first saw this game back in 1993. The premise of the game is simple, you’re Jake Brain and you’ve got to destroy the Bildvorg, the most powerful Mech in the enemy’s force. Interested gamers can download this title for 800 Wii points.
