Voyage Century: Alpha testers’ feedback

70% of the earth is H20, sailor - you ARE seeing the world! What’s better than getting first dibs on a new MMORPG? Easy: Getting first dibs on the Alpha test for the game, before everybody else. And if you guys who missed out on Voyage Century Online‘s initial invite, here’s something to the tune of “Wish You Were Here.”

Internet Gaming Gate (IGG) is reporting that the 1000+ Alpha Gamers who singed up for play-testing are liking what they’ve been playing. From explorations to wars, the play-testers have been giving the devs some pretty diverse feedback, ranging from their in-game experiences, to some possible game tweaks for existing bugs.

As one player narrated about some basic do’s and dont’s: “I learned you should NOT try to get tossed in the clink Â… I eventually realized I could shoot a guard, he promptly owned me. Â… Killing rats will probably take longer than it would to wait out your sentence.” “I also learned that the map (ctrl+m) can be used to navigate around and find the NPCs!” “DonÂ’t attack trade ships; the cities donÂ’t like you.”

Like we said, it looks like the game’s play-testers are opening up to the game’s details, and we’re hoping that the game’s promising performance holds up when it finishes up this phase. For now, guys who’d like to join in the fun – and discover America…again – can click on the read link to apply for Alpha Testing.
