WabModCheap 2.2 now without hardcoded sync values
AloneTrio just informed us here at QJ that their pet project WabModCheap has just been updated to v2.2. In case you are not familiar with this tool, it is actually a program patch that will allow users to run backup discs on the Wii.
The great thing about WabModCheap is that it will not require users to have an actual chip installed into their consoles for it to work. To run this program, all you have to do is connect your Wii to the PC using parallel cables (4 wire Wii side). Please take note that the success of the program and all sync-related matters depend a lot on your parallel port (configuration, speed, etc.). For this version, hardcoded sync values were removed by AloneTrio so that every user can modify the program, based on their own needs.
The usage for WabModCheap v2.2 is ./WabModcheap RW_WAIT C_WAIT. And a good example would be ./WabModcheap 100 1000. Since hardcoding has been removed already, AloneTrio suggests trying other C_Wait values like 100, 200, 300, and so on.
