Wal-Mart: Beautiful Katamari Wii ‘cancelled’
Well, you could say cancelled, if the project was true in the first place. But anyways, we learned that Wal-Mart indicated that Namco’s port of Beautiful Katamari for the Nintendo Wii (still no follow up on the PlayStation 3 version) might never make it to shelves. Read more of the details at the full story.
Following the little mishap late last year that pinned a possible Beautiful Katamari port for the PlayStation 3 and Wii, word that the Wii port has been “cancelled” was proliferated via email.
An official Wal-Mart notice mentions that Beautiful Katamari (currently only out for the Xbox 360) for the Wii could be released at a later date. But for now, it wouldn’t hit shelves any time soon for certain.
Unfortunately, the video game title hasn’t been officially announced for Nintendo’s next generation console, so we cannot say that it has been officially canned either. What we could say is that the game would probably not come for the Wii as was previously speculated. More updates as we get them.
