Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War 2 dated, screenshots revealed

A recent press release from THQ gave out a few details on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2‘s release date. In addition, the developers have also come out with three new gameplay screenshots. Can’t wait to get your hands on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2? You’ll be happy to know that THQ has stated in a recent press release that the game has been dated for spring 2009.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 will be running an enhanced version of the Essence Engine 2.0, the same base engine that was used in Company of Heroes: Opposing Front. The new engine is said to allow more detailed models and textures as well as advanced lighting and shading effects.
