Warhammer: Mark of Chaos gone gold

It’s way before the 40K: Black Hole Entertainment and Namco Bandai‘s Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe (think Tolkien with more of the grit, and none of the sci-fi of 40K). And with the 40K universe having its own RTS, why not Fantasy?

Mark of Chaos, unlike its 40K counterparts, is a real-time tactics game in the vein of the Total War series, rather than an RTS. This means that the battle and economic aspects are handled separately instead, so you can pound the living daylights out of Chaos – and worry about the economic crap later.

And to celebrate this title going gold, Black Hole and Namco Bandai have released these screenshots, artwork, and this latest gameplay trailer for Mark of Chaos. Just remember you won’t be seeing a Space Marine in any of these.
