Take the case of Barak Varr. The greenskins attacked the seaport while the bulk of the main Dwarven fleet was away on a mission. More of the Dwarven story follows in the full article, right after the jump.

It seems that the forces of Destruction in EA Mythic‘s Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning tend to employ a variety of strategies against their foes. While the Chaos Warhost has opted to use deadly pestilence, the greenskins have resorted to interdiction. Their target: the Dwarven port of Barak Varr.

The Orcs and the Goblins intend to blockade the supply line that links the Dwarves with the Empire and the High Elves. Since Barak Varr is the Dwarven seaport, its status makes it a prime target for such an attack. What’s even worse is that the bulk of the Dwarven fleet is on an important mission elsewhere, under orders from King Byrrnoth Grundadrakk.

As things currently stand, the greenskins are harassing the Dwarves on several fronts, including the Black Gulf lighthouse and the Bar Dawazbak gate. Fortunately, a group of mercenary pirates has come to the Dwarves’ aid – for a fee. Will the Dwarves and the Pirates be able to hold out, at least until the main Dwarven ironclad force returns?
