Warhawk: details on September 5 maintenance
A maintenance window has been scheduled for Warhawk servers from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on September 5. This is being done to implement a fix that should solve the problem of players being randomly dropped from the game.
To give you an idea of how bad it has become, Dylan Jobe, one of the developers of the game, said that “during these player drops the community would see the total world-wide player count drop between 1000 and 1500 players – clearly not good.”
He also addressed the issue of some players not being able to play online. The cause of this bug has not been determined yet but reports from various community suggest that it has something to do with the newly implemented PlayStation 3 firmware 1.92. No news yet on when this will be fixed, but we’ll keep you guys posted as soon as an announcement is made.
Incognito Entertainment has been pretty prompt with their fixes for the game. Judging from that, we can probably expect them to iron out the remaining problems very soon.
