Here’s a quick reminder for PlayStation 3 fans: Warhawk‘s game patch 1.2 has just gone live, and should now be available the next time you power up your console. Dylan Jobe also announced an update regarding Warhawk‘s much-awaited Operation Omega Dawn booster pack.

As the game Director states, the pack is now available for purchase via the Warhawk in-game store, beating its global release on the PlayStation Network by a full day. Given this big news, we imagine that the players will be peppering the devs with all sorts of questions regarding patch 1.2 and Omega Dawn.

To this end, we’re also letting you know that Jobe was kind enough to set up an FAQ regarding both topics, which you can access via the source link below. Wondering what sort of details are being divulged over at the blog? Here’s a teaser:

Can both teams have a dropship at the same time?

YES – the Combat Dropship only spawns in at specific locations and these bases become really important to hold. They also take awhile to respawn so you don’t see them constantly. But some of our best memories from working on Omega Dawn are from crazy Dropship-on-Dropship battles where nearly everyone in the battlefield is in the air!

Can you give us a roundabout estimate as to how much damage a dropship can take before kaboom time?

ItÂ’s really hard to estimate the time because it varies from weapon to weapon. It also varies because, just like a classic BOSS, the dropship has a weak point that causes more damage. IÂ’ve seen a well coordinated team take a dropship down pretty quicklyÂ…but the inverse is also true. IÂ’ve seen a team command a dropship for 10 minutes or more. It really depends on how you and your team or clan works together.

Thanks to Calo for the tip!
