CCP Games has announced the release date for Tyrannis, EVE Online‘s next free update, by way of a trailer. Check it out below. If you can’t watch it for some reason, be aware that the release date is set for May 18th.

 

 

Tyrannis will add a host of new features to the spacefaring MMO including planet harvesting. This focus on planets will pave the way for Dust 514, a console shooter for PS3 and Xbox 360 with ties to EVE Online.
