We turned the Wii retail box and found…
You’ve all seen mysterious item number eight (aka Startup Disc) printed on the rear of Wii’s retail box. After giving it a good look and a good thought, we turned the box around. Up and down then left and right. We were looking for something and we couldn’t quite find it.
We were thinking that if the Startup Disc refers to Wii Sports, it should have been mentioned in other parts of the box. Do you guys remember GameCube? The special packs with game bundles were printed right on the box. And so again we turned the retail box around and really found nothing. We decided that either we would wait for further announcements or look investigate further.
Sorry for the letdown. We’ve held that box and turned it for so long that we couldn’t help notice that that at the very least, it’s a cool and neat-looking box. Anyway, that with the picture of the console is the front cover while the one with the hand is the back.
