Webster approves! Majesco announces The New York Times Crosswords
To give an answer back to Crave’s Sudokoru for the logic-buffs, Majesco Entertainment‘s just announced yet another puzzler that could sweep DS-owners off their feet. This time around, vocab-buffs can spark up their touchpad savvy and prove their Webster power with The New York Times Crosswords.
There’ll be over a thousand puzzles to solve – all NYT quality crosswords. And more than that, the touchpad will be used to its full potential. You can either input letters by writing it (yep, the game will have handwriting recognition) or typing on a virtual keyboard on the touch screen.
For starters, a Puzzle Me Quick mode will be available if you wanna go pick-up-and-play. However, for those looking for a bit more extended play, there’s the Puzzle Week mode which progresses in difficulty. In Challenge mode, you’d be able to customize your own settings and time limits. 2-player modes are also available, whether you wanna go at it co-op or competitive via wireless.
Better start flipping through the dictionary. The game ships this spring.
