Welcome to the transition! NASCAR ’08 Interview

When you get behind the wheel of NASCAR ’08 from EA Sports, oh, there will be a few new things to consider.

First, the Car of Tomorrow is going to make an appearance in this game – just as the Car of Tomorrow is making its debut in NASCAR. Second, if this is going to be the first time you’re stepping into the driver’s seat of a stock car, as the video will show, there will be features designed to hold your hand through the lap.

Of course third are the multiplayer featuresNASCAR ’08 makes its next-gen debut here and now at game release. Aside from online racing, players will be able to trade setups with other players. Most likely since everyone will be tweaking the Car of Tomorrow like there’s no Tomorrow.

Now, GameTrailers pegs this video for the Xbox 360 (and the gameplay video indicates the same), but as this game will also appear on the PS3, it’s entirely conceivable that the same core multiplayer features will be present for PlayStation Network as it will be for Xbox Live (dump the debates about the difference between the two: it’s just about the game, understand?).
