What to expect from Metroid Prime 3
David of Infendo.com has a detailed write-up on their site detailing the concrete things we do know about Nintendo’s much awaited Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
He notes that we should expect Point-n-shoot controls given the Wiimote. We should also look out for the Stackable beam which is set to replace the interchangeable beam of Prime 1 and #@%!7
8#@%!. As for remotely controlling Samus’ ship, he says that we’ve got the Command Visor to handle that one.
When it comes to the games multiplayer features, David notes that all we’ve got to go on is the reported “not in the same context as Echoes” which basically could mean anything. Despite this David notes that we should be able to look forward to seeing new hunters in the game, as an early demo featured assistance from an other hunter.
As for the tag-line Corruption, we all know that Phazon and its effects will be explored in the game, including a new Corruption Meter that allows Samus to improve her abilities.
As for the audio-visuals, it should feature Full voice acting and graphics that’s better than Halo 2 (or so GamePro claims).
For David’s complete analysis, feel free to head to his musings via our “read” link below. It’s a decent read, and something good to chew on if you’re an eager Ninty fan.
