What’s Good About the PS3 Delayed Release?
Microsoft must be thanking their gaming gods by now because of this mis-step by Sony. The delayed release of PS3 is something that Microsoft definitely sees as an opportunity to become the top gaming console. The fact is that the Xbox 360 failed to outsell the PS2 even during its debut in November 2005. Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer naturally doesn’t seem to mind, quoting “Did we just get an even better opportunity to be the first guy to 10 million? Yeah, of course we did.”
But I say Microsoft needs to make them fast, because when the time comes and the PS3 is launched, they may not have enough units produced worldwide to hold their edge. That is, unless the PS3’s release will be a worldwide shortage clone of the Xbox 360.
