When things go “Kerboom” in DAoC Grab Bag
Sanya Thomas is back with the weekly grab bag for Dark Age of Camelot. It’s a hot grab bag this week, and to be more specific, it’s 70 degrees hot. Much of what’s in store for this week has to do with the recent roll-out of the Pendragon test version 1.87d, and she starts with taking the skeletons, err, archers out of the closet.
She explains why the archers weren’t included in 1.87, and they’ve got reasons for it. Firstly, she does say sorry for not being able to pack the archers in. Perfectly understandable since they were planning a lot more archery changes than they were when 1.87 was still planned into their schedule. They’ve got more coding lined up, as well as testing the said code, and the eventual review notes from the team leads.
Thomas also gives her comments on your comments about 1.87. If you haven’t sent in your own thoughts and test results, they’re still very much welcome. As for overcharging, well, that’s an entirely different story. The question on everyone’s mind right now is “what is my new chance of blowing up?” To answer this, she’s posted a full chart of percentages for certain qualification for you to go Kerboom.
