When Warhawk, Worms, and Brawl collide: Crash Commando heads to PSN
There’s a new PSN downloadable title that’s just been announced. Think Warhawk, but throw in a bit of Brawl and Worms – thus you get Crash Commando. Multiplayer pwnage is always welcome. In fact, it’s a must, especially in this killed-or-be-killed game.
Hey, check it out: it’s a new downloadable title for the PlayStation Network! Looks like the PSN is slowly populating itself with more and more games at a quicker rate now. After hearing of Savage Moon, Soldner-X, and Jeopardy, this new one is more than welcome to join the PSN party.
Meet Crash Commando. It’s an action side-scrolling title from DICE and SCEE. The screens might look a bit plain at first glance, but I can easily imagine how chaotic it can be – especially on multiplayer, of course.
Think Warhawk plus Brawl plus… Worms. Heck, you might even want to throw in a bit of Ratchet and Clank for good measure. You get to hop all around the map and dispatch your enemies. You can even get on tanks and jeeps to make things more …entertaining (given that you’re not on the wrong side of the barrel, of course). Here’s the 411 for Crash Commando:
- Up to 12 players on any map (online or offline)
- weapons include: shotguns, rocket launchers, machine guns, C4, etc.
- Multiplayer Death Match, team-based modes, and Boot Camp, custom game single-player modes
- Duty Records Award system: Trophy support, online ranking, leaderboards
- available this December
