Who moved my gore? Rockstar to fix erroneous GTA IV censorship in the next few hours
Did you get the latest title update for Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360, PS3)? Well if you did, then most likely you ran into that uncharacteristic, out of place censorship in Niko Bellic‘s world. Wow, who could have ever imagined that will ever take place? I mean, yeah, ESRB and other moral groups have tried time and again, but this from Rockstar’s own backyard? Hold up, it was just an “error”, they said.

Apparently, the title update “cleaned up the crime scene”, so to speak. Some European gamers noticed that the usual pools of blood around the corpses were nowhere to be found, and the camera angles were actually taken out from the sex scenes in-game. Gasp! Oh, the atrocity of it all! Here’s a video of the said censorship in action:
Yeah, yeah. So now Rockstar is speaking out about it, acknowledging the said censorship. Said a rep, “We are aware of an error with the latest GTA IV title update and are confident the issue will be fixed within the next few hours.”
You might wanna check up on it now, see if you’ve got your blood and gore right where they’re supposed to be.
