Whoa! SOCOM on PS3? DMC and new SOCOM for PSP?
At first glance, Devil May Cry and SOCOM seems to have no relation with each other. The first one is an action video game that was developed by Capcom, while the latter, on the other hand, is a third-person shooter from Zipper Interactive. From the genre to the developer – the two are not connected in anyway imaginable. Wrong.
Apparently, one reader from the gaming site PSP Extreme managed to get some details about the two video games, and according to the reader, Devil May Cry and a new version of SOCOM will be gracing our PlayStation Portable (PSP) units soon, plus SOCOM will also be appearing on the PlayStation 3 (PS3).
The reader claims that he is working for the retail chain Game Crazy and saw that Devil May Cry popped up in his company’s PSP list. Furthermore, two new SOCOM titles have been listed as well: SOCOM Competition for the PS3 and SOCOM Tactics for PSP. As much as these sound great, Zipper and Capcom, or Sony for that matter, are yet to comment on these rumors.
