Who’s Next To Visit The ISS?

Space AdventuresThe next civilian scheduled to visit the International Space Station via a Russian-built Soyuz spacecraft is an American software developer Charles Simonyi.

This flight to the ISS was brokered again by Space Adventures - the same orbital tourism firm that brought businessmen Gregory Olsen and Dennis Tito, and Internet entrepreneur Mark Shuttleworth to the space station.

Simonyi's ISS-bound flight will take place in Spring 2007, after Japanese entrepreneur Daisuke Enomoto's September 2006 flight to the space station where he (Enomoto) will be part of the Expedition 14 crew.

It has been rumored that these private individuals paid around $20M for a space flight of 10 days.
