Wii box rear view show interesting details

Thanks to the guys at Wiixors, we were able to get some cool images of the Wii box and some awesome Wii fliers at the EB Games store. They may seem ordinary, but if you look closer, you’ll spot something unusual on the back of the Wii box.

Yes, folks, up there on the number eight at the back of the box was written “Startup Disc”. There’s no figuring out what this means, but some, including the store manager, speculate that this has something to do with Wii Sports.

Click on the thumbnails above to get a better view of EB Games’ “Wave, Point, Rumble, Listen” flier. In reality, the fliers have done their share of effective advertising as various EB Games and Gamestop stores from all over the world have begun taking pre-orders (and even halted them, as in the case of New York’s Nintendo World Store). Now, all that’s left for us to do is wait for the Wii launch day. If you’re one of those who thought twice about getting a pre-order, I’d say falling in line for a Wii system in November is going to be a real challenge!
