Wii console gets WiiD (modchip)
While people have already made pre-orders for previously announced modchips like the WiiKey or CycloWiz, we bring in more news of another modchip blissfully trippin’ its way to the Nintendo Wii – say hello to WiiD.
According to its specs, this latest modchip will be carrying some of the major updates that have become standard for the Wii’s growing crop of chips. For one, the all-important D2B DVD chip support is there, as is stealth mode, and firmware upgradability via DVD. Read on for the rest of its current features:
