Wii games to retail starting at US$ 29.99
If Rampage: Total Destruction‘s price on Amazon is an indication of retail price of Wii games, then we could probably grab some launch titles for as low as US$ 29.99. As a comparison, Rampage: Total Destruction for current-gen consoles is being sold for US$ 19.99.
The low retail price for Wii games isn’t really surprising considering that the Wii itself is the least expensive next-gen console. Also, Nintendo has promised cheaper games and they’re making good with that promise.
Of course, we don’t suppose we can get popular games like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess or Red Steel for a mere US$ 29.99, but we do know that they’d be much lower than US$ 60. Games for next-gen consoles currently retail between $49.99 and US$ 59.99.
