Horror Vacui - Image 1This is Sinman‘s first attempt at game programming and it’s a two-player abstract strategy board game. It’s based on the antiquated notion that nature abhors a vacuum, and you’ll be making use of different cards to win.

There are two modes: vs CPU or vs Player 2. Player 1 will always be Water element, and whoever you’re playing with will always be Player 2. Players take turns in placing their cards representing their element until the board (or vacuum) is full. It’s got a lot of rules, but you basically have to cancel out the enemy’s cards, and have as many normal cards of your own to win. “Temperature” is key.
