Wii homebrew – Magic Number

Wii homebrew - Image 1Practice your David Blaine skills with this simple brew – Magic Number. The Wii picks a number and all you have to do is guess what it is. A difficulty setting determines the range of the numbers you have to guess in. A waste of time? To those tempted to bash this brew, you should know that this is the developer’s first Wii program, and he’s looking forward to use it to develop more advanced games.

Numbers - Image 1It’s very simple – all you have to do is guess the number that the Wii randomly picks. Adjust the difficulty setting accordingly to increase or decrease the range of the numbers from which you will guess. Impress your friends with your knowledge of The Force and get all those numbers right.

For installation, just copy the “magicnumber” directory and its contents into the APPS folder on your SD. Load the homebrew channel, then select the Magic Number app. To play, just use the directional buttons to select levels and numbers, then A to restart the game.

If you got the urge to bash the app, give the developer a break. It’s HardCoal99’s first, and it’s alright. He’s planning to use this as a stepping stone for more advanced games. Kudos to you, HardCoal99.
