Wii Kiosks now up in Japan

Yes, the Wii’s public demo tours in Japan won’t be for several days more. But don’t you mope, because we have here images of Wii Kiosks now put up in Japanese retail stores. Settled comfortably and donned in its pristine white trademark color, the kiosks have on display the Wii-V, which never ceases to play those instructional commercials for the Wiimote. Really, they just want to make sure you get how to use the console’s controllers. If it’s starting to put you in a trance, you can always look away, you know.

Now this is what’s particularly teasing. Underneath the Wii-V is a glass shelf where the must-haves actually are: the console itself, the Wiimote, and the nunchuk. Yup, gang’s all there. Unfortunately, they’re just there for your viewing pleasure. Admire from afar. Gosh, it’s so frustratingly close, yet so far away.

Aurgh! It’s right there before you! You can almost touch it with your own fingertips… Almost, but not quite. But no worries. Soon, it will be ours. Soon. In the meantime, check out these pics.
