Wii mod: may the TriForce be with you
And once again, during another of our forays into the Intertubes, we found this nifty little mod that pretty much made us want to start spray-painting Wiis everywhere. Introducing the TriForce Wii, courtesy of Steve from Deadly Computer.
Besides the fact that the ever-majestic symbol of the TriForce is proudly emblazoned on the Nintendo console’s surface, you gotta admit that the black and white Wiimote and Nunchuck look absolutely cool. Plus, this thing would also look great with the limited edition Zelda: TP guide book by its side. Sigh.
For those who want to know about just exactly how this was made, check out the images of the process that we have here, or just head on over to Deady Computer itself. In the meantime, we’re hoping that this sends out a message to Nintendo: “We want Wiimotes and Nunchucks in various colors! Pink, red, blue, teal, green, purple, metallic gold…”
