Wii outsells PS3 almost four to one in Japan
Japan‘s magazine publisher Enterbrain has recently released more of their sales figures for last month ending September 23, with this report focusing on the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3.
According to the publication, Nintendo managed to sell around 1.6 million units of the Wii, while Sony managed to sell 385,492 PlayStation 3s. Put another way, we’re looking at a four-to-one sales ratio between these two rival machines.
In relation to this news Sony’s gotten quite the pick-me-up from their newly released PSP Slim. Earlier reports indicate the portable topped last week’s charts at a staggering 277,794 sales. The DS comes ins second at 70,523 units, Wii with 24,992 units, the PS2 with 11,373 units, the PS3 with 10,732 units.
