Wii Roadshow Planned For UK and Ireland

In an interview with Cubed 3, the general manager of Nintendo UK David Yarnton said that the Wii will be going on a roadshow across the UK and Ireland very soon. They are planning on visiting various venues in cities across the two countries, and afterwards, most probably all throughout Europe as well.

As a major part of their promotional and marketing activities, the company is seeking to enhance the public’s understanding and awareness of the Wii by allowing people to actually play on the console, instead of having a demo unit stuck in a corner of a store behind glass. By allowing people to experience the capability and the, well, experience that the Wii can offer (and is hoping to revolutionize), they are hoping to make people understand what the Wii is all about.
