Wii software titles available from launch until Spring 2007
The all-important factor for next generation consoles is what games you can get for it. After all, Sony’s PS3, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii all feature new technology, so one of the important factors has to be the games. It appears that the Wii has this corner covered with THQ announcing four titles for the Wii launch yesterday and this massive list of Wii titles today. Nintendo Europe have updated their website with a complete list of all Wii games that have been confirmed to be released at some point between the Wii launch date of November 17 to spring 2007.
If you thought the four titles from one publisher yesterday (THQ) were a lot, then you should brace yourself for this list. It’s almost like the publishing wars to see how many games each publisher can make for the Wii between the launch date and spring 2007.
According to this list, Activision has three titles along with Digital Bros and THQ (although we know that THQ will release four titles on the Wii’s launch), and the largest of the group of publishers – Ubisoft and System 3, have battled it out, with Ubisoft having 7 titles on the list and System 3 falling just short of Ubisoft with 6 games. Now, if you’re still alive after all those numbers, check out the list:
