Wii: The swnging Japanese hands-on TV ad

The newest TV ad for the Wii focuses on the Wiimote and nothing else. Aside from the almost bare visuals, the commercial only uses sound to simulate a tennis racket whacking a ball, a baseball bat’s home run crack, and a golf club putting Tiger Wood’s favorite spherical object as the Wiimote plays Wii Sports.

Although it looks exhausting with all that arm swinging action, Entertainment Wise reporter Kim Kaze happily reported that Nintendo’s next-gen console isn’t as strenuous as she thought it would be. And she played Wii Sports for two hours. According to Kaze, getting physical with the Wiimote is optional. In case you do decide to play vigorously, remember to drink lots of liquids and apply a thicker layer of deodorant.
